After a 17 month long paper trail Lyric's brothers are finally with us as foster children!!!! We picked them up from the airport on Wednesday and we are so happy to have them here! They are AMAZING kids! Please pray for us through this transition. xoxo, Sam

Praying you have a smooth transition with the brothers being added to your sweet family. I'm sure Tim is over the moon with 2 boys added to the mix. :)
Now THAT is a family........ :)xxx
The world needs more families like yours.xx
Yippee! I hope to hear from you more. I check everyday.
I check your blog every week, and I pray for you and your family, although we have never met. You are an inspiration to me and my family and I am thrilled to hear how God is directing your story. This update is absolutely a blessing to read!!! Monique
Thanks sweet friends!!
Are Lyric and her brothers going to remain long term fosters, or is the state moving towards reunification or adoption? I know you probably can't talk about it, but I can't help but wonder.
We had a very painful loss when after moving towards adoption, our to be daughter (my husbands then 15 year old former foster sister who became our foster daughter 2 years prior after a failed reunification with her mother, since my inlaws were at full capacity) was told she had to do "one more" reunification attempt with her mother before she could become ours. Sadly, her behavior changed dramatically and she dropped out of highschool back in her mothers care, along with other problems, and decided to stay with her mother as the state offered more and more interventions to maintain reunification, and has since aged out of foster care. We tried to maintain a relationship, but she refused to follow family rules while visiting and decided to cut ties when we refused to condone her wild behavior.
While I'm not very religious, I pray regularly for your family and their well being, and that your foster children have healthy, happy outcomes no matter how things go.
